Responsibilities
Lead, support, and motivate a team of collections agents to achieve high performance
Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies
Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
Manage training and upskilling initiatives for agents
Allocate resources and manage workloads to optimize productivity
Analyze data and metrics to improve recovery rates and minimize customer churn
Oversee professional and compliant communication with customers
Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies
Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
Collaborate with internal departments to support collection efforts
Matric Certificate
Proven experience in collections team leading or a similar role
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
In-depth knowledge of collections compliance and regulations
Highly organized with strong time management skills
