Minimum Requirements





Minimum Matric or NQF equivalent (NQF Level 4)

Diploma/ Degree qualification would be beneficial

3-5 years' experience in collections required

Supervisory experience beneficial

Understanding and/or experience of the Collections cradle to grave environment would be beneficial


Duties and Responsibilities





To achieve departmental targets in terms of Rand Value Collected; % to current month premium opportunity and % to arrear premium opportunity collections.

Monitor and review operational performance against the plan to ensure that the required operational results are achieved

Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the various product offerings within the Company to adhere to the required service standards

Support team members by sharing knowledge, information, and problem-solving recommendation to achieve the required operational results

Ensure clients are well educated by the team on paying their insurance premiums on the agreed date and the consequences of not paying on time.

Relate and communicate all new or revised policies and procedures and/or processes to team members to ensure up-to-date and current information

Attend to and resolve all escalated and priority issues

Ensure the team is correctly staffed with the right skills

Discuss monthly QA ratings with the team and carry out coaching sessions to improve QA ratings where applicable

Conduct regular performance discussions with the team to track progress

Rectify non-conformance and performance variances within the team

Continuously assess the need for training or performance improvement of individual team members and implement actions plans to enhance overall team performance

Co-ordinate leave requests to consistently have the required capacity within a team to meet operational requirements

Manage and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders

Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals.
