South Africa`s' largest provider of financial services within debt collection , based in various provinces , is looking for your management and strategic leadership skills to work with their customers to agree affordable repayments which improve their credit standing over time while ensuring they can remain active in the community.

About the role:

Manage a team that will collect on outstanding accounts from South Africa`ss largest institutions.

Train and manage staff as they make and receive high volume outbound & inbound calls.

Investigations, Tracing to locate and establish contact with customers.

Build and establish relationships with customers with rapport and trust.

Creating positive outcomes by negotiating repayment solutions

Problem solving and objection handling.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a call centre, legal, medical , retail, telco , sales, or similar industries
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Persistence and resilience to have challenging conversations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, particularly regarding customer data protection and privacy.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
• Compile accurate sales and performance reports for management on a regular basis
• Ability to negotiate will be highly desirable.
• Share a passion for results and a target driven environment.

• Basic computer literacy skills
• A desire to learn and take on feedback.
• Management skills

Qualifications:

Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

Minimum 2-5 years management experience in collections

Knowledge of collections and recovery strategies, processes, and methodologies

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of relevant collection legislation (Debt Collectors Act, National Credit Act, Magistrates Court Act)

Updating Debtor's information on the system (Excalibur) or relevant ERP systems experience -an advantage
