Job Description

A high precision manufacturing company requires a skilled CNC Setter which includes working overtime and shift work.



Responsibilities:



Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture high precision components/parts. Apply safe operating practices. Have good hand skills. Able to accurately interpret technical drawings. Identification and correct use of precision measuring equipment. Sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices. Familiar with ISO standards and quality management procedures. Familiar with job cards. First article inspection and continuous Inspection and dimension reports. Understanding of efficiencies and quality. Good knowledge of gauges, jigs and fixtures. Good understanding of materials and chip formations needed. Attention to detail and skilled in high precision machining for the aerospace, medical and marine industries. Experience in working with tight tolerances.

Will be in your favor: Completed CNC courses: Turning / Milling CNC courses (G-Code- Fanuc)

Minimum Requirements:



Minimum educational requirements: NQF Level 3 or Grade 11 or N2 or RPL Equivalent. Literacy and Math NQF Level3.



NB: Must have own transport due to shift work and overtime requirements.
