CNC Machine Operator/ CNC Lathe/Milling/Machinist (Turning)
Duties & Responsibilities
At least 5 years' hands-on CNC Lathe experience. Proficient in CAD/CAM programming. Solid understanding of cutting tools, geometries, and tool selection. Strong grasp of feeds and speeds across various tool types. Ability to optimise and improve programs for efficient manufacturing. Must have own reliable transport. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of CNC machinery, including programming languages like G-code.Attention to Detail:
Meticulous focus on precision and quality in programming, setup, and production.Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot issues, manage material waste, and ensure product quality.Mechanical Aptitude:
In-depth knowledge of both mechanical operations and the computational aspects of machining.Blueprint Reading:
Skill in interpreting technical blueprints and specifications.Qualifications for operating CNC machines
Experience with CNC machines (lathes and milling)
Some basic setting experience would be advantageous
Understanding of production manufacturing an advantage
Ability to use measuring equipment (vernier, height gauge, bore gauge, micrometer)
Job Type: Temp to perm
Pay: R13000,00 - R15000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
North Riding, Gauteng 2169: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
