Job Description
Our client, an established Engineering Company in
Rosslyn,
(Pretoria-North
), is looking for a skilledCNC Machinist.
EE: Open
Minimum Requirements:
At least 10 years' hands-on CNC Lathe experience. Proficient in CAD/CAM programming (preferably Mastercam). Solid understanding of cutting tools, geometries, and tool selection. Strong grasp of feeds and speeds across various tool types. Ability to optimise and improve programs for efficient manufacturing. Must have own reliable transport.
A compulsory drug test will be conducted on the successful candidate.

Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of CNC machinery, including programming languages like G-code, and familiarity with software such as Mastercam.Attention to Detail:
Meticulous focus on precision and quality in programming, setup, and production.Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot issues, manage material waste, and ensure product quality.Mechanical Aptitude:
In-depth knowledge of both mechanical operations and the computational aspects of machining.Blueprint Reading:
