NOV Gqeberha is seeking a skilled

CNC Turner Machinist (Milling)

to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and repairing high-quality components to precise engineering drawing specifications while meeting NOV's quality and HSE standards. This role involves operating a range of

CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and conventional machines

within a fast-paced job shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture and repair precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and lathes, as well as conventional machining equipment. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy using appropriate measuring tools. Work to tight tolerances and maintain product quality in line with company standards. Adhere strictly to

NOV's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)

policies and procedures. Collaborate with production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in optimal working condition. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the job shop.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualified

Turner Machinist / Toolmaker

or equivalent relevant trade qualification. Minimum

5 years' experience

in a heavy engineering or precision machining environment. Proficient in operating and programming

Siemens, Heidenhein, and Haas

CNC controls. Strong background in

milling operations

; turning experience also advantageous. Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications accurately. Experience with

CAD/CAM systems

is beneficial.
