Job Description
Our client in Delmas, Mpumalanga is seeking a CNC Lathe & Milling Machinist to join their Engineering company.
The Key Performance Areas of the position are:
- Meet set Production targets.
- Be able to interpret technical drawings.
- Measure shell dimensions and reference them to drawing.
- Assist in set up and initiate manufacturing processes.
- Manufacturing and machining of all types of material to achieve complete and accurate parts within expected time frame.
- Perform Deburr, clean and inspection as required.
- Observe prescribed safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot machine related problems.
- Detect and report faulty operations, defective material and any unusual or unsafe conditions.
- Monitor and record production and quality data and recognise and respond to error conditions, malfunctions and faults.
- Grade 12 with Mathematics.
- At least 3 years of experience in CNC Lathe and Milling machine operating and/or manufacturing processes.
- Certificate in CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operation/Setting.
- Must be able to work on Duise Machines.
- Must be able to control the Nook Controller.
- Must be able to do Milling and Turning.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
