Client Success & Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (around 60%)

Find and follow up on new business opportunities Stay in touch with existing and past clients to generate repeat work Take part in online networking and represent the business Run sales conversations from first call to close for most deals Pass larger or more complex opportunities to the founders when needed Keep CRM records up to date (leads, notes, follow-ups)

Client Management & Retention (around 40%)

Be the main point of contact for clients Build and maintain strong working relationships Check in with clients regularly and handle issues if they arise Deal with difficult conversations calmly and professionally when needed Spot opportunities for additional work where appropriate

Marketing Planning & Coordination

Help plan email and social media activity across the brands Work with the designer to get campaigns and content delivered Support basic marketing planning and scheduling Help improve how the CRM is used across the business

Team & Internal Coordination

Work closely with the designer/admin team member on priorities Keep work moving without needing constant input from the founders Share updates and flag issues early Help improve day-to-day processes as the business grows

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in a client-facing or business development role Comfortable speaking to clients and closing deals Confident on the phone and in meetings Strong written and spoken English Able to work independently and manage your own workload Organised, reliable, and good at following through Comfortable using CRMs and online tools

Role Details

Full-time Fully remote Salary: R19 000 - R30 000, commensurate with experience
