Our client, an industry leader in the Short-Term Insurance space, is currently looking to employ an experienced Client Manager to their Port Elizabeth based team.
Requirements:

• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• A bachelors degree is preferable.
• Excellent knowledge of policy wordings
• Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.
• Must be registered as an associate with the IISA.
• A comprehensive knowledge of the South short-term insurance markets.
• Have a minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in a similar or related role.
• A valid drivers license.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading, developing, and improving the day-to-day client relationship.
• Responsible for building a client profile, including risk and needs analysis, for the client portfolio.
• Responsible for contributing to the renewal process, which includes:
• Preparing pre-renewal documents.
• Meeting with clients.
• Sending renewal notifications.
• Sending cancellation letters where applicable.
• Responsible for structuring insurance programmes to meet the needs of portfolio clients.
• Responsible for producing client documentation (including policy documents and claims statistics).
• Leads or contributes to renewal meetings.
• Leads or contributes to fee negotiations.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction, retention, revenue, and profitability.
• Responsible for ensuring compliant dealings with clients.
• Contributes to the development of new business with existing or new clients.
• Coordinates teams of Client Service Advisors (where applicable) to ensure client service standards are met.
• Acts as support to the Strategic Account Manager or Business Manager on larger, more complex accounts.
• Responsible for credit control.
