We have an exciting opportunity for a

Finance Clerk: Inventory

to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is based at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver, Cape Town and will be part of a very diverse and vibrant Finance team. We're a fully in-office team.


The

Finance Clerk: Inventory

will be responsible for reconciling stock count information received from stores, transporter claims and other stock-related administration duties.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:







Essential:




2 -3 years relevant finance administration experience, including strong reconciliation experience

Preferred

Retail experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Grade 12 (Accountancy and/ or Maths)

Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree)

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

:


Strong administration knowledge and ability Good knowledge of financial administration and basic accounting principles and their application (debits, credits, journals, reconciliations) Knowledge of Inventory process Basic transport/ logistics

SKILLS REQUIRED

:


Computer skills, intermediate to advanced Excel Communication skills (verbal and written) Interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team Attention to detail Above average numerical ability Deadline driven Analytical thinking Ability to work under pressure * Able to deal with large volumes of work
