We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team on Babylonstoren Farm. The ideal candidate will be analytically inclined, with experience in inventory management, warehousing, supply chain or logistics - preferably within an e-commerce environment. This role is best suited to a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work culture and can readily adapt to evolving market and organisational demands.



Technical skills and abilities


A completed National Senior Certificate (matric / Grade 12)

Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain management, logistics, and/or e-commerce

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP software systems

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work productively and efficiently

Flexibility to adapt to and implement change effectively

Energetic, motivated, and proactive work ethic

Availability to work weekends

Fluency in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills


Your responsibilities will include:


Setting up and maintaining stock schedules, which determine product availability on the online shop for future sales.

Monitoring out-of-stock products and escalating when necessary to ensure maximum product availability.

Enriching new products in the relevant operational systems, as a critical step in the product launch process.

Assisting with the management and analysis of stock shortages.

Monitoring various stock control reports, such as close-to-expiry reports, online product availability, wastage, and stock alignment, and taking action or escalating where required.

* Investigating discrepancies between recorded and physical inventory to identify and reduce stock shrinkage.
