Job Description

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site operations, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, planning, and coordination of personnel, resources, and activities within power stations or heavy industry facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Supervise cleaning, maintenance, and operational activities in industrial environments, including power stations. Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality, adherence to schedules, and compliance with operational procedures. Prepare and maintain site reports, logs, and documentation, including safety and progress reports. Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and other site personnel to ensure smooth operations. Identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation measures, in line with HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) guidelines. Enforce legal compliance and company policies on-site, including management of legal liability issues. Mentor and guide site personnel, ensuring professional development and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

NQF Level 5 Certificate in Site Management or relevant discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience managing sites in power stations, heavy industry, or industrial cleaning projects

Certifications:

M+3 (Management Level 3) Legal Liability Certificate HIRA Certificate (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of industrial health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-risk industrial environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proactive approach to safety and risk management. Decision-making and problem-solving under pressure.
