David Kennedy Recruitment is working with an innovative and reliable online derivatives broker offering mostly African clients the opportunity to take advantage of the worldxe2x80x99s most lucrative financial markets.

As the COO you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the organization, primarily through the schisms of the sales. Your primary objective is to enhance operational efficiency, improve processes, and drive profitability while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and regulatory compliance within the Forex industry.

Position: Chief Operating Officer - Forex

Location: Remote/Work from home in South Africa

Employment type: Full-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute the company's operational strategy
• Ensure the company complies with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards
• Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial stability and protect its clients' assets
• Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams within the organization
• Manage the financial health of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Oversee the development and maintenance of trading platforms, software, and IT infrastructure
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered to clients, with a focus on building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships
• Implement KPIs and metrics
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions
• Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, or acquisitions that will further the company's strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Forex or financial services

industry * In-depth knowledge of Forex trading, financial markets, and regulations

• Strong strategic and operational planning skills
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and operational excellence
• A deep commitment to regulatory compliance and risk management
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-driven approach
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis abilities.
