Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our client, a leader in engineering, manufacturing, and automation services, is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in industrial sectors, ready to take ownership of financial strategy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Align financial strategies with operational objectives to support growth and long-term sustainability.

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.

Risk & Capital Management

• Evaluate and mitigate financial risks across large-scale industrial projects.
• Manage capital allocation, including investments in R&D, equipment, and expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in engineering, automation, or manufacturing industries (essential).
• An accounting qualification such as a Diploma, Degree, or BTech (essential).
• Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
