Job Description
Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R 1.8 mil to R 2 mil
You will use your understanding of the financial position of the company to influence decision making and actions towards the achievement of agreed strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee Finance, Commercial, Manufacturing Plant, Procurement, Legal, and IT
Review company performance against the annual budget and forecasts and preparation of relevant mitigating plans.
Track cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective action plans when necessary, and prepare accurate forecasts so that management can make informed decisions about future investments or cuts.
Advise the Board, Exco and CEO on issues, trends, and changes in the financial operating performance and operational delivery and strategic financial plan.
Assist in implementing yearly objectives and measurable metrics. Support the long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the strategic/business plan, especially to improve the organizational development of the association and to increase its effectiveness and efficiency.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- CA(SA)
- 5+ years in an executive level role
- Manufacturing experience, non-negotiable
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Effectively and efficiently manage the working capital
