Chief Engineering Technical Officer

Job Summary Our client, a market leader in the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Agricultural Industry, is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a Chief Engineering Technical Officer for their Group. MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE : To formulate, implement, establish, and lead the engineering and technical operational excellence strategy. To ensure the safety and efficiency of plant and machinery across the Group''s multinational SSA agriculture businesses. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: At minimum a BEng, BSc Eng - Mechanical/Electrical qualification. At least 3-5 years at Executive Leadership/Senior Management level experience. Professional registration with GCoC (Government Certificate of Competence) is essential. At least 8-10 years as a Professional Engineer in a related discipline. At least 5+ years in Project Management within a production or manufacturing environment. Solidly grounded experience within a World Class Practices and Autonomous Maintenance environment will be a distinct advantage. Willingness to travel - locally & international.
