Central Reservations Agents

to join our Cape Town office and support our hotels in Scotland. As a Reservations Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for guests and travel partners, handling bookings with professionalism and warmth.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle FIT and Group reservations efficiently. Manage allocations, OTA channels, and GDS systems. Coordinate group dinner bookings. Maintain accurate profile and segmentation management. Oversee daily reservations systems and resolve related issues. Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally. Manage daily correspondence and email communication. Process reservations promptly and accurately. Secure bookings in a timely manner and ensure correct recording. Answer customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Upsell and promote additional services and upgrades. Collaborate with external service providers. Collect and process guest payments, including advance deposits. Ensure departmental handovers are clear and accurate. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist with pre-registration activities when required.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel reservations department. Strong knowledge of OTA, GDS, and allocation management. Experience with group bookings and dinner arrangements. Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work shifts and weekends.
