Turas Hotels is establishing a Central Reservations Office in Cape Town to support our collection of hotels in Scotland. We are looking for an experienced

Central Reservations Manager

to oversee the team and ensure smooth booking operations and a high standard of guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and manage the reservations team Establish standard procedures for handling reservations and enquiries Monitor call handling, booking accuracy, and team performance Liaise with hotel teams in Scotland to ensure alignment Oversee use of systems such as HOP PMS system Analyse data and produce reservation reports Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve complex enquiries Work closely with Revenue and Sales teams to maximise occupancy and revenue Manage inventory, rate loading, and promotional activity across channels Ensure compliance with data protection and guest confidentiality standards Group enquiries and rooming lists Tour Operator

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in hotel reservations, with 2 years in a managerial role Strong leadership and people management skills Expertise in Opera, SynXis, or similar hotel systems Excellent communication and organisational skills Able to work office-based in Cape Town and flexible with UK business hours Hospitality qualification preferred
