SUMMARY: Renowned farm estate in the Winelands requires passionate and creative Chef de Partie to join their team POSITION INFO: Key responsibilities:

  • Menu and recipe development in collaboration with the Executive Chef
  • Identifying new food preparation or presentation techniques and providing the Executive Chef with new ideas or input
  • Optimizing the cooking process with the emphasis on speed and quality
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety standards are met
  • Ensuring consistency and the smooth running of food production
  • Overseeing kitchen staff when required
  • Staying up to date with current industry trends
  • Reporting any maintenance requirements Requirements:
  • Culinary tertiary qualification
  • At least 2 years' similar work experience
  • Proven knowledge of current trends and suppliers within the restaurant industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to respond quickly in cases of emergency
  • Problem solver
  • Hard-working individual with a passion for their work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: R8,500.00 - R10,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
