Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Demonstrate strong leadership skills to assist in managing the assigned kitchen section. Perform well under pressure and confidently run a busy service. Carry out daily food preparation and duties as assigned by senior chefs, ensuring consistency and quality. Coordinate daily tasks and production with the Senior Chef. Estimate daily production requirements and ensure correct portioning and minimal wastage. Check the quality of raw and cooked food to ensure all standards are met. Ensure food production, preparation, and presentation are of the highest quality at all times. Maintain full knowledge of menu items, recipes, production methods, and presentation standards. Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and storage procedures. Ensure proper handling and preservation of all food products at correct temperatures. Operate and maintain section equipment and report any malfunctions promptly. Maintain effective communication and a positive working environment within the team. Take personal responsibility for hygiene, safety, and correct use of equipment and utensils. Monitor expiry dates and ensure correct storage and stock rotation. Consult daily with the Senior Chef regarding requirements, functions, and last-minute changes. Train, guide, and motivate junior team members to ensure efficient and economical operations. Set a high standard for personal hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty. Collect daily feedback and report issues as they arise. Ensure quality control and adherence to service and operational standards. Carry out any additional duties as required by management.
Requirements:

Minimum

2-3 years' experience

in a similar CDP role. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work flexible hours in a demanding environment.
