Cctv Surveillance Controller

Job Description
A vacancy exists for a CCTV Surveillance Controller. The purpose of the position is to minimise the risk to the company through the daily monitoring of surveillance footage. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the installation and maintenance of surveillance cameras and infrastructure. The position reports to the Security Manager.The key duties include the following:
- Daily monitoring of surveillance footage to identify risks
- Ensure backups of surveillance footage are available
- Troubleshooting hardware and software
- Identify and repair faulty cameras and ensure cameras are kept clean
- Consolidate footage for investigations
- Maintenance of surveillance software and hardware
- Grade 12
- At least 4 years security experience
- At least two years experience within a control room environment
- Willing to work overtime if required
- The ability to communicate in English
- Experience on HIK Vision will be advantageous
- Own transport and a valid drivers license will be beneficial
