Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Coordinating planned and regular outreach campaigns in consultation with the MPL Assisting with setting up of outreach meetings and ensuring that agendas are prepared for the MPL Assisting the MPL with diarising a programme of events and regularly updating a grid of outreach events Assisting the MPL with the administration of outreach projects Assisting the MPL to ensure that requisitions for outreach projects are processed through the Caucus Finance Support Officer

Minimum requirements:
National Senior Certificate or equivalent Experience in an administrative or similar role Proficiency in two ore more official languages, with English being a requirement and Afrikaans or isiXhosa being advantageous Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for daily business use
Skills:
Written and verbal communication Time management, coordination and organisation Administration and attention to detail
Abilities:
Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations Produce accurate, high-quality work in line with specific standards Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated Work independently Apply sound judgement

Commitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance * Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
