Job Description
Join our dynamic and passionate team at Sachal, where we craft high-quality custom boats with pride and precision. We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our shipyard.
About the Role:
You will work on a variety of tasks, from fine hardwood trim work to general outfitting and custom interior construction. The ideal candidate must be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, with an exceptional eye for detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cabinetry and custom furniture work
General outfitting of vessels
Manufacture and fitting of cappings, fiddles, and trim
Working with High-Pressure Laminates (HPL) and veneers
Forming and laminating interior pieces
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar field
Experience in boat building is highly advantageous
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Salary:
Remuneration will be based on the candidate's experience.
