Job Description


The Campaign Specialist is responsible for driving the implementation of the Direct Marketing portfolios and integration of campaign messaging across Digital Channels to change customer behaviour to grow more loyal, engaged and higher spending customers, and help ensure consistent, seamless messaging for business as usual campaign delivery. The Campaign Specialist will also assist with the conception of special campaigns (sales driving/ brand reputation building initiatives) and manage the end-to-end execution thereof.
Qualifications

Required:

  • National Diploma in Marketing or similar.
Preferred:

Bachelors Degree in Marketing or similar.

  • Campaign/ project management principles

KNOWLEDGE required:
  • A minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience gained in a direct marketing / CRM environment.
  • Experience in Adobe Campaign manager or similar tool and/or HTML
  • Experience within an online commerce and/or a digital environment, as well as knowledge of store credit products
  • Experience in campaign or project management
Key Responsibilities

1. Translating business needs and implementing workflow
  • Translation of the CFE and Commercial promo grids into a DM promo calendar
  • Ensuring documentation of all campaigns according to the DM workflow process
  • Investigating & recommending opportunities to leverage data to enhance campaign reach and effectiveness
  • Assisting in concept development of sales driving & brand reputation enhancing campaigns
  • Using post-campaign analysis to inform decision making for optimal reach and conversion.
2. Briefing, trafficking, and managing DM creative assets
  • Managing the Creative process from end-to -end
  • Managing the Selection process end-to-end
  • Providing the Design Team with messaging/ creative recommendations based off customer insights, historical campaign performance, etc.
  • Implementation of DM processes and management for continuous optimisation and streamlining
  • Onboarding of new CRM agencies.
  • Optimally manage monthly usage of allocated DM budget for creative assets and campaign deployment.
3. Segmentation, selection and execution of campaigns
  • Manage the segmentation and campaign data selection.
  • Manage testing strategy as per campaign
  • Build data selection workflows in deployment platform
  • Manage data integrity alongside Pepkor D&A in line with POPIA requirements.
  • Build workflow selection templates and DM deliveries and manage maintenance of these for optimal run times.
  • Plan DM deployment volumes according to allocated budget
  • Build SMS landing pages on SMS portal
  • Overseeing the implementation/execution of campaigns through the campaign management system
  • Managing the SMS and Email budget
  • Ensuring consistency of messaging across Digital channels
  • Managing the creation and approval of special campaign elements with Agency & internal Design Team
4. Best in class
  • Ensure the business is kept up to date with new trends, measurement, best practice, benchmarking and tools, and that these (where relevant) are included in the business plans.
5. Reporting
  • Oversee the analysis of campaigns/analyse the campaigns in APT and adobe.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive, easily read xe2x80x9cDM Management Reportxe2x80x9d for all Ackermans DM, ensuring D&A and other Pepkor businesses are aligned in how reporting is done.
  • Present a summary at quarterly and/or seasonal PCAs
  • Include a DM ROI summary in the company Management Report
