Responsibilities:

Design and decorate custom cakes for a variety of occasions including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events
Apply advanced techniques in fondant work, sugar art, piping, airbrushing, and sculpting
Collaborate with clients and pastry chefs to meet bespoke design requests and flavour profiles
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety in the decorating area
Stay up to date with international cake trends and continuously innovate

Requirements:

Minimum 35 years experience as a professional cake decorator in a high-end bakery or patisserie
Exceptional artistic and creative abilities, with a strong portfolio of past work
Knowledge of international styles, modern design techniques, and edible mediums
Ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail, with a customer-oriented approach
Relevant training or certification in pastry arts is highly advantageous
