Butchery Manager required
We are seeking an experienced Butchery Manager to oversee the full operations of our butchery department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing meat cutting, preparation, portioning, packaging, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and product quality.
Key duties include:
Full stock and meat control, including accurate record-keeping
Conducting block tests and monitoring yields
Developing and overseeing recipes, marinades, and value-added products
Managing merchandising, product displays, and overall presentation
Supervising packing, portioning, and labelling processes
Leading, training, and scheduling the team of butchers
Monitoring stock rotation, placing supplier orders, and controlling wastage
Ensuring equipment maintenance, workplace safety, and excellent customer service
This role requires strong leadership, excellent technical butchery skills, and the ability to run an efficient, profitable, and customer-focused butchery operation
