A leading catering foods business is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to drive strategic growth and lead a high-performing sales team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand market share, build strong client relationships, and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team of four, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, and distributors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the catering and food service industry.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry.
- Provide strategic leadership and report directly to the executive team.
? Degree or Diploma in Sales/Marketing or 10 years' experience in a similar role, only extensive Catering Industry and Commercial sector experience will be considered.
?Proven experience in a Director of Sales or senior sales leadership role within the catering, food service, or industry.
(5 - 10 years' managing a team with senior staff members).
? Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
? A solid network and understanding of the food and catering industry in South Africa.
? Exceptional business development, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
? Ability to analyze data, forecast sales, and develop pricing strategies.
? Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
