Job SummaryOur client is looking for a Business Development Manager - Chemicals & Fuel (Warehousing) to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will drive high-value contract wins in the chemical and fuel logistics sector, with a focus on warehousing solutions. You will play a strategic role in securing new business, developing warehousing infrastructure in key regions, and transitioning operations to dedicated teams after contract closure. This is a high-impact role with nationwide scope and significant travel expectations.Responsibilities:Close new warehousing deals with high-volume chemical and fuel clients, targeting R100 million in new contract revenue within the first yearManage the complete business development lifecycle from lead generation through to contract finalisationHandover operational execution to regional teams after successful contract closureSupport the expansion of warehousing facilities in Cape Town and Durban, replicating existing models by Q4 2025Engage with senior stakeholders and build long-term strategic client relationshipsRequirements:Minimum 10 years' experience in chemical and/or fuel logistics, specifically with warehousing or storage infrastructureProven track record in securing large, high-value B2B contractsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to engage and negotiate with executive-level stakeholdersIndependent, self-driven, and comfortable with a high national travel loadBackground in companies offering specialised chemical or fuel warehousing services will be advantageousBenefits:
