Purpose of this Role:
The HR & Compliance Specialist ensures that the organisation meets its statutory and regulatory obligations related to B-BBEE, Skills Development, and Employment Equity. This role is responsible for coordinating audits, preparing submissions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting management in driving transformation and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance & Strategy
Analyse sales data and KPIs to assess location performance
Develop and implement strategies to meet regional targets and drive growth
Identify underperforming branches and create action plans for improvement
2. Customer experience:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all locations
Address escalated customer complaints and implement service improvements
Promote brand consistency and excellence in customer service
Monitor opportunities for discretionary and mandatory grant applications.
3. Budgeting & Resource Management:
Manage regional budgets and control operational costs
Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity
Forecast sales and expenses to support financial planning
4. Markets:
Researching potential markets in select countries
Understanding of relative markets and business acumen
Examine risks and potential of new markets
Identifying suitable partners and distribution channels
A Diploma / Degree in Sales/Marketing
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the sales and marketing environment
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the sales segments of retail & specifying
Experience within the flooring industry would be advantageous
Computer literate - MS Excel , Word , PowerPoint etc
A proven track record
Bilingual in several key languages would be advantageous
Numeracy and analytical skills
Willingness to travel out the country for extended periods
