Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
? Ability to analyze drawings and pictures for fault finding;
? Assembling of all mechanical parts on a trailer and tanker;
? Knowledge of trailer and tanker parts;
? Knowledge of welding;
? Using a cutting torch, drilling machines and grinding work;
? Help with break downs:
? Fault finding on all air systems
? Fitment of new ABS systems
? Knowledge of electric aspects on all trailers
? Knowledge of pneumatics
? Service on trailers and tankers
? Ad hoc tasks
REQUIREMENTS
? Matric;
? Minimum 3 years' experience in the trailer manufacturing and repairs environment.
? Basic communication skills and abilities;
? Ability to read drawings and to work under minimal supervision;
? Knowledge of repair work on tankers and trailers;
? Ability to work in a team;
? Bilingual;
? Must have a valid driver's license and own transport;
? Must be able to work long hours, overtime and be on stand-by.
