About the Role:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Branch Manager

to oversee the operations, sales, and performance of our Gauteng branch. This role requires a strong leader with hands-on experience in

rigging, machine moving, and heavy engineering projects

, as well as proven ability to manage teams, drive sales growth, and ensure operational excellence through structured reporting and CRM compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability. Lead, mentor, and supervise rigging crews, drivers, and office staff to meet performance standards. Oversee planning and execution of rigging and machine moving projects, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. Drive business development by building client relationships and securing new rigging and project opportunities. Ensure all jobs, quotations, and client interactions are accurately captured in the CRM system, including: Daily updates of sales activity and job progress. Monitoring staff compliance with CRM usage. Generating and reviewing CRM reports for performance tracking. Using CRM data to forecast, identify trends, and measure progress against branch targets. Manage branch budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures. Maintain client satisfaction by resolving escalations and ensuring excellent service delivery. Collaborate with other branches and departments to align rigging operations and sales strategies with company objectives. Implement operational improvements, safety initiatives, and structured reporting to strengthen overall branch performance.

Requirements:



Minimum of 5 years' experience in a

management role within rigging, heavy lifting, logistics, or engineering

. Strong leadership and team management skills. Technical knowledge of rigging principles, lifting equipment, and project execution. Proven ability to drive sales and secure contracts in a competitive environment. Hands-on experience with CRM systems for reporting and accountability. Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost management, and reporting). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
