Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator - Lex Pools

Lex Pools, a leading name in the swimming pool industry, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing our financial records, payroll processing, working with our overseeing accounting firm as well as working with suppliers and customers in daily small business tasks. We have approximately 26 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with VAT submissions.o Compile and assist in sales targets and reporting systems. o Process monthly payroll, including generating and reviewing payslips.o Submit monthly PAYE returns, annual WCA submissions, and bi-annual/annual EMP501 & IRP5s.o Assist in providing documentation for annual financial statements.
Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping and payrollo Proven proficiency with Sage One Accounting and Payrollo Solid understanding of VAT and submission processeso Experience with monthly payroll processingo Knowledge of WCA and EMP501 submissionso Experience assisting accountants with annual financialso A certificate or qualification in accounting or bookkeeping
The Ideal Candidate:

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in accounting and payroll functions. A strong grasp of compliance requirements and enjoy working independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. A team player willing to be flexible in a small business environment.
