Job Summary Our Architectural Practice is looking for a capable and well-organised Office Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our professional team. Bookkeeping & Accounts: o Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record keeping o Preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns o Managing accounts payable and receivable o Preparing and managing client accounts and invoicing o Maintaining accurate ledgers and assisting with monthly financial reports Office Administration & Reception: o General office management and administrative coordination o Answering and directing incoming calls o Welcoming clients and preparing meeting spaces o Managing office supplies, deliveries, and correspondence o Assisting with internal record keeping, filing, and diary management o Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as needed Requirements: o Relevant qualification in bookkeeping, finance, or office administration o Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role o Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills o Neat, professional appearance and telephone manner o Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask o This is an in-office role and not suitable for remote work.
