Position Overview

We are seeking a

BMS Technician

to join our team. This role requires expertise in computer skills/ networking systems/ onsite installations/ and electrical knowledge. A proactive approach to troubleshooting, and skills in system/ hardware configurations is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain BMS software/ hardware/ and networks. Work with BMS communication protocols such as Modbus/ BACnet/ and TCP. Onsite hardwire fault finding. Onsite software and network fault finding. Perform basic electrical functions such as relay/ power supply/ power meter installations. Manage customer engagements from site service calls/ new system additions. The ability to adopt to new technologies. Travel as needed, including extended stays.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in the BMS field. The ability to fault find and resolve system related issues independently. Computer Skills. TCP Network Skills. Basic electrical safely knowledge. Integration of systems knowledge into a BMS, such as HVAC/ Generators/ Power meters. Hands-on experience with cabling/ terminations/ and general installation tasks. The ability to work independently. Reliable and self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

BMS/PLC systems certificates, especially Schneider Electric systems. Electrical certificates. TCP network certificates. Valid driver's license.
Grade 12 certification.
