PBT Group presents a chance for a BI and Analytics Developer to join forces with analysts, data scientists, and developers on data projects and products, ensuring the efficient and consistent delivery of data according to established criteria.

Moreover, the BI and Analytics Developer will be responsible for continuously maintaining, supporting, and optimising current data assets and delivery frameworks. After defining the scope and priority of tasks, they should be capable of working independently and feel at ease addressing the data requirements of various teams, systems, and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage stakeholders to identify and establish analytics needs and priorities collaboratively.
• Create intricate data models and ETL procedures, ensuring their effective design and development.
• Enhance database query efficiency and optimize overall analytics performance.
• Oversee data security measures and manage access controls for analytics systems.
• Work alongside data scientists to construct and implement machine learning models.
• Contribute actively to conversations regarding data architecture and modeling.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Undergrad or postgrad degree in a quantitative field.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in data warehousing concepts and data lake architecture.
• Experienced with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Advanced SQL skills, including database tuning and optimisation.
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Snowflake, Databricks or Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly advantageous.

Qualifications/ Certification:

• Undergrad or postgrad degree in a quantitative field.
