Job Description

Interact with guests, take orders and serve beverages. Ensure the correct presentation of the bar, including cleanliness and availability of stock. Ensure availability of ingredients, accompaniments and condiments are available to prepare all beverages available on all Beverage lists. Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in accordance with company standard drink recipes, using the correct glassware. Assess guest's needs and preferences and make recommendations Ability to sell or influence others for up selling and suggestive selling Serve guests in a friendly and helpful manner Provide guidance to guests on Hotel and Restaurant facilities, dining options and general hotel information. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of beverage products, menus, and promotions. Clean up after guests and clean work area. Ensure the availability of glassware and utensils at all times. Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning of fridges, shelves, mirrors, and equipment. Maintain liquor inventory and consumption. Accurate stock taking. Preparing inventory. Accurately record breakages, wastage, and internal transfers to and from departments following company policy. Collect payment for beverages and balance all receipts. Follow Company Standard Policy of "No Slip, No Drink" Stay guest focussed and nurture an excellent guest experience. Comply with food and everage storing regulations. Inform management and staff of any "Out of Stock" items. Complete daily Opening & Closing procedures as well as handovers Fully competent with cash-up procedure, providing all relevant back-up documentation and correct cash. Always ensure that storerooms are neatly packed in an acceptable manner that reduces breakages and damages to company property
Must be proficient in POS.

Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Pay: R8000,00 per month
