Job Summary
Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a baker or pastry assistant
  • Relevant baking qualification preferred
  • Valid South African ID
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough handling
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices
  • Good time management and ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
  • Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the baking area
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with ordering
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
