Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a baker or pastry assistant
- Relevant baking qualification preferred
- Valid South African ID
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough handling
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices
- Good time management and ability to work efficiently in a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
- Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the baking area
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with ordering
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
