NOW RECRUITING - BACK OF HOUSE MANAGER!Fancourt is the finest Leisure and Golf Resort in South Africa.We are situated in George, in the lovely Garden Route.Please apply online if you meet the criteria for this role.An opportunity has arisen for a Back of House Manager who is a disciplined & organised individual who has strong administration skills, and who can handle pressure by working in our fast paced Back of House Department.The ideal candidate must have a minimum qualification of Grade 12; 2 years supervisory experience in a F&B or stewarding environment, a valid driverxe2x80x99s license, Health & Safety or Chemical handling training and must be computer literate.Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Executive Chef by monitoring, maintaining and improving health & safety conditions of all food and beverage departments;
- Assist with health audits and compile action reports for all departments;
- Ensure adequate levels of cleaning equipment and chemicals are on site and the safe storing thereof;
- Responsible for gas supply, wood & charcoal supply, pest control and function set-up;
- Coordinate the team in effectively removing waste from satellite outlets; staff bathroom facilities are clean , recycling and regular cleaning of refuse removal area;
- Oversee and manage back of house supervisors;
- Manage staff performance, discipline and grievances.
- Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays;
- Must be able to work long and late hours on request;
- Must be prepared to work
