Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Develop and operate production-ready business applications (24/7)
• Liaise with customers, team members, and external vendors
• Deploy applications in AWS using GitHub
• Monitor and operate applications via AWS CloudWatch
• Apply cloud-security patterns and concepts to solutions and deployments
• Embrace Agile methodologies and contribute to team responsibilities as per the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in back-end development using:

• JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js
• Python
• Java
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Cloud & Container Architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.
• Proficiency in:

• CICD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Automated deployment, monitoring, and log analytics
• Docker & Kubernetes
• SQL and NoSQL databases (especially DynamoDB)
• GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Event-driven architectures, Web Services Design & Deployment
• Familiarity with design/architecture patterns and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Willingness to learn new languages and technologies

Advantageous Skills:

• Optimization (Linear/Nonlinear), Control Theory, Machine Learning
• Efficient Algorithm Design & Evaluation
• Performance Testing & Tuning
• IoT device integration and energy consumption understanding
• Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, WSL/VirtualBox

Qualifications:

• Relevant IT Degree
• Cloud Certifications (AWS preferred)
