Job Description
Join a manufacturing team as an Automation Technician in Gauteng!In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and automation systems for greenhouse projects. Your expertise in electrical engineering, system calibration, and fault finding will be essential in ensuring equipment runs smoothly, issues are quickly resolved, and systems meet safety and performance standards.To succeed in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, a qualification in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 3 or higher) or a Trade Test. Excellent knowledge of designing and installing automated systems using AutoCAD and PLC programming/fault-finding is essential. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English will also be valuable, along with the ability to travel and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
