Automation Service Engineer
Kathu (Northern Cape)
Minimum requirements and experience:
- BEng (Electronic/Electrical or Computer Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
- Direct customer interface experience
- Good understanding of digital and analogue electronics.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good skills in network troubleshooting
- Non-restricted Drivers license and Passport
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Working experience in PLC/SCADA/HMI systems
- Previous commissioning/field service experience (working on mine sites).
- Understanding of statistical concepts.
- Hands-on experience with setting up and servicing instrumentation equipment.
This is a critical customer-facing role and will provide on-site as well as remote customer support with a focus on operation, troubleshooting, performance evaluation and maintenance of their analysers.
