Job Description

Working hours:

Mon to Fri 07:30 to 17:00 (through the year, holiday in December)

A family is looking for an AFRIKAANS AU PAIR for their son

Area:

Mnandi, Centurion

Child's Age:

Boy - 3.5 years

Child's Neurodivergence Snapshot:

Low muscle tone, is not able to walk yet

Support Style:

Physio exercises to be provided every day (provided by the therapist), visits Physio every Tuesday, Speech Therapy every Thursday, take to extra-murals, general care and supervision of the child, naps schedules educational engagement and age-appropriate stimulation

Working hours:

Mon to Fri 07:30 to 17:00 (through the year, holiday in December)

Duties:

Swimming every Wednesday,Physio every Tuesday, Horse Riding every Wednesday, Speech Therapy every Thursday, engage in intellectually stimulating play & activities with the child, bathe the child, prepare meals for the child, prepare dinner for your family, occasional babysitting (by prior arrangement)

Special Requirements:

Afrikaans speaking, 30+, Someone able to assist with Physio exercises at home, Remedial experience, ECD Background, OT/Physio experience - beneficial

Start Date and contract term:

2nd January 2026 - permanent

Salary:

R15 000 per month + SARS rates per km



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
