Job Description

Working hours:

Monday - Thursday: 14h00 - 17h00, Friday: 13h00 - 17h00

Additional Hours:

Candidate will need to drop the children at school in the mornings on an adhoc basis when the

mother is travelling for work (maybe one week per month) This will be compensated for additionally.

School holiday hours:

adhoc need but exact times and need will be indicated prior to the holiday period

Duties:

Collect from school, extra mural transportation, lunch prep in the future (the youngest has Celiac disease so this will come at a later stage. Assisting with homework, guiding through the work, motivating to do homework and setting up a study schedule. The youngest has juvenile arthritis and the Au Pair will need to assist with activities and exercises for this.

Requirements:

Able to assist with Afrikaans homework. Preferably someone who lives close-by and knows the area. Must have a driver's license and driving experience of a minimum of 1 year, car in good condition, punctual, and gentle personality.

Start date:

January 2026 start - permanent contract

Salary: R10 000 per month (gross before deductions) plus petrol (R4.76 per km)





All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:



Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
