Job Summary This magnificent wine estate restaurant in Somerset West offers a most unique setting, scenery, cuisine and dining experience. Soon to become an award winning destination the cuisine, service standards and signature wines are without doubt the true winners. ProStaffSelect are in search of a highly polished service professional to take on the responsibility for promoting the estates wines, paired with the 4 or 6 course set menus and as an Assistant Restaurant / Floor Manager provide the most memorable service experience imaginable. REQUIREMENTS: Hotel Management or Wine Diploma (Sommelier qualifications) Excellent Food and Wine Knowledge plus knowledge of cocktails and beverages OUTGOING; professional and bubbly PERSONALITY with excellent relationship building skills Experienced and polished in fine dining Food Service, Sommeliering, Barista duties and Beverage Service Strong personality and SALES SKILLS FULLY Computer literate in Point of Sale programmes as well as Word & Excel Excellent PERSONAL PRESENTATION Confident (not arrogant) in creating a POSITIVE GUEST EXPERIENCE ORGANISED and self-motivated Must hold a valid Drivers License SA Citizens only
