Job Description

RPO Recruitment is seeking a friendly and motivated Assistant Resident Engineer to join our client's multi-disciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will provide support to the Resident Engineer in overseeing and managing construction projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals. Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project schedules.
• Perform inspections and quality control to ensure that construction activities are carried out according to standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during construction.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress, including daily site diaries and progress reports.
• Assist in conducting safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in managing project budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction supervision or related field.
• Good understanding of construction processes and practices.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects is preferred.
• Professional registration with relevant engineering board is advantageous.
