Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Lodge Manager for a Private Nature Reserve in Hermanus. This is a live-out position and offers a compeitive salary per month including provident fund and a partial medical aid. Job Summary: This rolexe2x80x99s primary function is to maintain the service standards of the establishment through on-thexe2x80x93floor management and supervision. It requires the individual to interact with guests daily and ensure that their stay is as memorable as possible. This person has to be wherever the action is so strong time-management and planning skills are essential. It is ideal for someone who has come from the lodge industry who understands the personalised attention to detail required for the job.
Minimum Requirements for this role:

  • 3-4 years work experience in a well-recognized five star hotels or lodges.
  • Understanding and experience in a Food and Beverage related position

We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills:
  • Management experience
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day operationsof the lodge
  • Coordination of food and beverage service
  • Manage staff in terms of discipline
  • Daily liaison with guests
  • On-the-job training of service staff
