Job Description


Candidate requirements:

  • Hospitality Diploma or tertiary qualification in Management
  • Computer Literate
  • English speaking, fluent in written and spoken English
  • Drivers License valid PDP essential
  • Valid First Aid Certification
  • Management experience in luxury lodge environment and a diverse and intense property
  • Focus on Guest experience delivery from kitchen (back of house) & bar and waitron departments (front of house)
  • Accustomed to reporting systems daily & weekly; presenting month-end packs to Operations & Finance Depts
  • Hands-on staff management and staff disciplinary process
  • Delicately manage community staff and drive the development/upliftment process of employees
  • Flexible attitude and willing to take on tasks as necessary
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Realistic expectations of living in a remote area
  • Honest person with a high sense of integrity
  • Sense of ownership and pride in work
  • Well-groomed, good personal hygiene & presentable with a bubbly, friendly personality
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, work flexible and extended hours
  • Empathetic and compassionate personality
