Job Summary
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have completed a National Senior Certificate
- A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management would be advantageous
- Minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 operational experience in the Front Office of a luxury hotel is essential
- Must be proficient in the use of various well-known Property Management systems
- Excellent verbal and written skills are important
- Must be conversant with specialist terminology including F&B service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Wardrobe, Security and Operational Finance
- A sense of urgency and dedication to meeting the needs and wishes of others will required for this role
- Must be willing and able to work shifts, including night shift
- Managing guestxe2x80x99s arrival and check-in, guest relations and interactions, departure, checkout and billing.
- Coordinating the seamless execution of services, including booking of restaurants, transport, etc.
- Recommend, upsell and cross sell services, including partner experiences.
- Ensuring positive interdepartmental and colleague communication.
- Monitoring O (zero) status and management accounts.
- Providing guest feedback reporting, utilising Revinate, TripAdvisor, E-mails, etc.
- Following and enforcing all Health and Safety processes and procedures whilst maintaining the privacy of all guests.
