JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Preferable Grade 12 or higher qualification.
Experience in 5 hotels advantageous. Computer literate with Excel, Word, Outlook and Opera experience.
Pay attention to detail.
Very good communication skills.
Work well with people .
Min 2 years' experience in a similar position in front office.
Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To
Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage the front office Team; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Supervise and manage The Front Office Team ( Guest Relations) . Understanding FOM position well enough to perform duties in FOM' absence.
Establishes and maintains Hotel standards.
Manages day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and that guest expectations are met.
Handling and resolving guest complaints.
Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action.
Ensuring Exceptional Guest Service.
Supervise and manage all financial accounts and standard operating procedures.
Check all rate overrides prior to arrival and ensure correct authorization has been obtained, or accountability has been provided;
Check the Departure Report daily for any discrepancies on room rates and ensure that all rooms have been correctly charged;
Responsible for daily checks on floats and ensure that safe is adequately stocked with change at all times;
Follow up on the open balance status on a daily basis and liaise with the relevant department managers to ensure that payment for departed functions/groups/guests is received promptly;
Attend to requests and complaints from guests without delay and in an appropriate manner;
Liaise directly and on a daily basis with all relevant departments to discuss the day's events and any special requests from guests;
